Paintings by Puerto Rican artist Raphael Collazo are on permanent exhibition at the resort. Considered "a legacy of the Puerto Rican people" by art critic Nilda M. Peraza, Collazo's work is included in the collections of numerous museums in the United States and Puerto Rico. In essence, Yuquiyu is a private museum -- its collection, "A Healing Garden", contains twenty-seven important pieces. During your visit to the island, you can view more of the artist's oeuvre at the Colección de las Artes of the University of Puerto Rico, Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico, Museo de Arte de Ponce, Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico and the Museo de Historia, Antropología y Arte of the University of Puerto Rico.
